「Check-in was a little problematic since the office closed at 5, but we finally got confirmation through Expedia about getting someone to contact us about checking in after hours. Room was clean. Washing machine did not cooperate, and after an hour of trying different settings, we finally got a full cycle to work. 「The girl that works at the check in desk allowed us to check in early which helped us get some sleep after an early flight. Walls are thick. Very quiet. The beach is right down the road and if you have pets, Drake’s Island is one of my favorites. There are lots of really good restaurants nearby. Beachfire has really good food. 「Firs, I will say the towels were clean. The room however was shabby beyond compare. The floor isn't level. There are holes in the wall. The curtains are falling off the rod and held in place with zip ties. There were dead bugs on the floor. The rug was stained. The bed was sunken in the middle. The dead bolt on the door doesn't work. I don't know how this owner can allow people to stay there in this condition.」
