10/10 Excellent
"Our room was lovely but the stairwell to go up to our room had quite a musty smell (but it might have been the rollaway beds being stored in there). We would have hoped for an ice machine just for a drink in our room and also the coffee maker in our room was on a shelf that was too short so it was difficult trying to pull out the machine and fill it with water because when you put it back in the shelf, the top of the shelf turned the machine off. Other than that, lovely property, great restaurant, friendly staff, and nice rooms. More picnic tables around the property would have been nice too! We had a great trip!"

"Staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good, what you would expect from a continental breakfast. "I am SO happy that we came across this spot while we visited Picton for our anniversary. I will 100% try and stay here for all future Picton visits, we loved it! The rooms are so beautifully designed, the entire hotel and all of the amenities were very well taken care of and clean, and the staff are extremely welcoming and hospitable! The views of the harbour from the harbourfront rooms was so peaceful even with the rain that we had. Gorgeous spot, we will absolutely be back!"

The Birch

8/10 Good
"Loved the view from the property and had everything you could need for a weekend stay. The location was prime for the wineries and we really appreciated all the suggestions for bike rentals and food spots. Just wished the check in time and check out time was a little bit wider as the pass is required to enter the provincial park and without it you aren’t able to enter so there’s barely enough daylight to actually enjoy that amenity if your staying for only one night. Also the pictures are very misleading we thought that the hot tub would be part of the dock access and it is not, it is part of another rental unit. Pictures should be for the listing itself and not include other rooms or kitchens to avoid confusion. Access and parking was easy; would stay for two nights next time to get the most out of the cute unit."
