"Breakfast has decent options but they need to be careful with cheese. We got mold in one of our cheese cubes. Parking can be hair raising if you have a big SUV. It is in the basement and pathway is spiral with very tight corners. Also the front desk/reception is not open 24 hours. So you are out of luck if you arrive late after 9:00 PM and inform them beforehand. "

"This hotel is located in a quiet area south of the City It is ideally located for the Ubhan to the city. There is construction being undertaken nearby but this is only during the day. There is an underground car park. The online check in and check out were easy. My room was a single business room which was comfortable and clean with windows and air conditioning. The bathroom was light and spacious. It had plenty of storage and a desk. Breakfast represented excellent value for money. Everything was fresh and tasty. This Hotel has great eco values. My only suggestion for improvement would be a coating on the shower base or a shower mat to prevent slipping. The base was long. There wasn’t a rail to get hold of when I did my impression of Bambi as I was leaving the shower."

"Great hotel in Fussen. The location is perfect with many restaurants and shops within a short walk. The castles are a very short drive away approximately 2 miles. The restaurant bar are very nice and quaint. The rooms are little on the smaller side but very well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The shower in the bathroom is a little funky but that may be more of a European thing. The orientation of the shower head is in the middle of the tub instead of at the head or foot of the tub so it's not a typical shower from US standards. It's a minor point and it would not prevent me from staying here again. I would definitely come back to Hotel Hirsch"

"The room was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable enough. It was also fairly inexpensive, making it a worthwhile option for a couple's long weekend getaway. However, many aspects could be improved. First of all, it's tiny. Which would not be problem, because that was implied before booking. But the toilet and separate shower room are seemingly in a low-ceiling-container that was placed inside the high-ceiling bedroom. "An excellent hotel with a great location and delicious breakfast and dinner. Walking distance to the cable car and with beautiful centre of Garmisch just around the corner. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable for the family of three. The room was very well equipped, including free beverage in the fridge (Arolser beer was a particularly good one), Nespresso machine as well as slippers and bathrobes. Selection of food for breakfast and buffet dinner was excellent and delicious - bravo to Chef! The only ideas for improvement are to update the pool area and to reduce the waiting time at the dinner in days of set menu. I would be happy to come back again!"
