The Stevenson Monterey

The Stevenson Monterey

8/10 Good
"Great place to stay if you just want a clean place to sleep while you are in the area to hang out and explore. Pricing is good and its in walking distance to what you would want to see or catch the trolley. Parking can get complicated if the hotel is all booked up because there is not a ton of parking. Overall good for what I needed it for 3days."

Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent
"My husband and I were mesmerized by the sound of the ocean, we slept with the patio doors open. We went August 20, 2026 and totally enjoyed our room. We lazily drank coffee in bed while waking up and the went down to have breakfast. We dined outside (the patio heaters were on). Excellent and then we walked to the Monterey Aquarium and enjoyed 20 foot aquarium window, sturgeon. jelly fish, very helpful docents."
