"We ended up here by accident after being double booked at another (unrelated) hotel. We were made to feel so welcome and looked after that we quickly forgot about the ordeal from the night before ! The room was gorgeous with stunning views. The hotel and spa were clean, staff were friendly, the food was excellent. We are so glad we stumbled upon this hidden gem and can’t wait to return! "

"Just returned home after a lovely week’s break at this property. Great location just off the beach at Porth. On arrival, we followed instructions to access building using key codes. No problems getting in. We had been allocated a dog friendly apartment at the back of building on ground floor. Sadly, no view of the beach but we did find it quiet and well suited to our needs. There was a small outside area with table and chairs and steps leading to an upper area too. It was secure enough to safely let our dog out there. The apartment had two bedrooms, one with en-suite. There was also a separate bathroom so spoilt for choice with just two of us staying there. Large living area with kitchen. We spent our week travelling around Cornwall and found the location perfect for visiting St Ives, Penzance, Port Isaac, Padstow to name just a few. The nearest pub we found to eat was The Mermaid situated on Porth Beach but we particularly enjoyed the food at The Farmer’s Arms in St Columb Minor which was just a few minutes drive away. On our final day, we chose to walk into Newquay along the coastal path from Porth beach. Lovely views as it was thankfully a fine day. Car parking in Newquay was difficult so would definitely recommend walking into centre if you’re able to. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return there in the future. "

"We loved the layout and the location was fantastic - a really short drive to the beach. Unfortunately it smelled quite badly of cigarette smoke and the washing machine smelled musty so we had to use the laundromat on site instead. We would have liked to have had some USB plugs. "

"Fantastic location, just across the road from the beach. Very clean and most of the facilities you could need for a two night stay - they even have a mat put put the dog bowls on (we brought our own as we weren't aware of this but great if you are unprepared). Lovely spacious outdoor space too. Apartments felt very secure with codes for the entrance driveway, apartments and the key safe at the front door. Unfortunately we didn't find the sofa comfy, or the sofa bed (it was our preference to sleep in a double bed so we chose the sofa bed over the single beds) I realise this is a personal comfort thing so others may be absolutely fine sleeping on the thin mattress. This will not deter us from staying again though as now we know what to expect we can bring a metres topper etc next time. The dogs in the apt/s to the right as you look out the back were noisy and barked a lot. We may have been unlucky if they were there on a short break, but it's useful to know if they are residents. "
