All staff from the valets being polite and opening the entrance doors to the concierge checking me in/out to them swiftly providing toothpaste with 2 extra toothbrushes because I forgot mine...anyone traveling to DC, this property & it's staff will not disappoint.

We reserved and paid for a king size bed . The front desk staff purposely put us in a room with a full size bed with unfinished walls of concrete. When we presented the bait and switch a new front desk employee quickly corrected their change to the correct reservation. Not what I expected from a Hyatt after a 6 hr drive at 1030 pm .

Not far from a Metro station- made getting around the city easy. Nice restaurants surrounding the hotel and Nationals Park is just down the road. Very quiet hotel with cookies in the lobby during the evening.

Waited over an hour to check in. They didn’t have our reservations we booked with Expedia. After waiting 45 minutes to hear back from a supervisor that worked from home was told to contact Expedia ourselves. Wasn’t a pleasant first experience. The two people that were working counter seemed like they didn’t care about making our experience enjoyable.

We did love our stay. However the price seemed steep for the accommodation. We chose it for its location to an event we were attending. The added hotel fee, not a fan. The bed was comfortable. The shower was a nice walk-in. And, the enclosed rooftop bar was a nice touch. When we return, I think hotels closer to the Harbor would suite us better.

Very accommodating staff, everyone was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel was very nice and clean. Walking distance to good restaurants, and train is 2 blocks away which is very convenient.

Overall experience was excellent. Room and hotel is quiet and luxurious. I would avoid the restaurant downstairs for breakfast, they took close to 40mns to make a waffle and bacon togo. If I knew it was gonna take that long I would have just cancelled, took me shorter time to walk to the capitol then to get my breakfast, staff attitude was they could care less. Front desk staff was very nice and accommodating from check in to check out.

The property is beautiful and trendy. The rooms were nicely decorated but basic. We stayed in a King Balcony room. We didn’t get to enjoy the balcony much due to rain but I liked the privacy hedges, which gave it a cozy vibe. The TV in the room was nice and had the option to cast from your own device, but the process to set it up was clunky and took a lot of effort to get it to work. The phone in the room had incorrect or not working numbers programmed into which made so service requests hard. The only complaints we have about the room it’s self are that the fridge was hot at the top which spoiled some things we had in the fridge. You have to request ice which wouldn’t be a problem, but for the issues with service described below. The service, to put it plainly was just lazy at best. Before arriving to the hotel I called to make sure all was set for our reservation and couldn’t get anyone on the phone. While there, when calling the front desk I waited 5 minutes usually for someone to pick up or had to call repeatedly. Despite there always being someone at the front desk when we were down there. No one asks if you need help with the doors or bags even though they can see you struggling. The valet staff was disorganized and seemed like they were confused about the processes to check in and to get your car. So overall if you’re looking for a trendy spot with beautiful accommodations and can tolerate the bare minimum service wise this place will be perfect for you.

Where do I start first we go to check in everything went well until we got into the room and I noticed that there was no balcony. I was never told that my room was switched nor was I told that there was a price difference in the room that I was given. Second thing is I valet my car and when it was delivered to me, I noticed a scratch on the bumper. No one notified me that my car had been damaged so I had to figure that out on my own and make a claim with the hotel. They told me I will be contacted within 2 to 3 business days and it’s the fifth business day, and have still yet to be contacted.

The “balcony” was not a real balcony and not worth the additional cost. The cleaning service did not clean the room for 2/3 days we were there. There was garbage in the room when we arrived. They tried to charge us extra for an included breakfast until I complained. But overall the front desk staff was very attentive and the hotel was very nice. It was a great stay, just a few things failed to meet expectations for me, don’t mean to sound so harsh.

All staff members were quick to respond and kind. Food served at the hotel was always fresh and tasty. Thompson is right in the middle of the Wharf area so the beautiful waterfront and tons of restaurants were a 3 min walk away.
