What I didn't like was: There was no service for the second night, as,,, clean towels or more coffee. And very skimpy on that, only 1 cup of reg and 1 cup decaff, Plus price was plenty high considering every thing.

Ervin,Thank you for taking the time in putting feedback. Firstly I apologize for the service issue you have faced and assure you that we will discuss this with the staff and will be addressed. However, my initial review shows that at the time of check-in, when asked, you and your guest both stated that you would not need service on 2nd day and let the front desk know if it changes. For the Coffee like every room, we put the same set of regular and Decaf and always love to offer more Packets of Coffee as requested, I do show that this service was provided to one of your other colleagues. We will surely do better communication of this in future. In reference to the Price, We are very competitive and still the cheapest among the comparable competition, We will work hard to keep the price competitive low and will continue to do so. Again, I apologize for the miss communication and service, we hope you will stay with us in your future stay and experience the changes.Thank you.

Stayed 2 nights here while pheasant hunting. It was exactly as advertised. Small, simple room but it was clean and everything worked. Owners were accommodating and nice. I’ll be using it again

The place was older and it was NOT handicap-friendly. I could not get into the office with my walker. They didn't have ramps or rails on the two steps into the office and breakfast area.

What a nice surprise to find a goodie bag on each bed. It had a bottle of water and 2 snacks. How very nice!! Owner was very nice and room is spotless!!! Great value for money.

Bait and switch
The room was no where near as nice as the pictures they use on their website. My room had lots of mismatched red paint splotches from repairs, the paint under the window a/c unit looked like it was melting. The window unit was extremely loud. The property is for sale so they evidently aren’t going to invest in updates which are sorely needed!!! I know it’s a small town so they’re weren’t many options. At least the room was clean!!!

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times when visiting our grandchildren and have had no issues, until our recent stay. The room seemed to be clean, however when I woke up in the morning, there were cockroaches crawling on the dresser. Praying we didn't bring any home with us!
