"This hotel exceeded all expectations. While the room might be a little tiny, the vibes are immaculate. From the free filtered and sparkling water on tap in the lobby, to the fun rooftop bar, to the well stocked and clean gym, I was really happy with the service and amenities offered. The location is perfect for exploring the city, 5 mins from the National Mall and 5 mins from a major Metro stop that could take you anywhere in the city. Sure there’s a quirkiness to the minimalism in the rooms and the modern decorations but it’s efficient and delightful."
"The Arlo Hotel is beautiful, clean, very comfortable beds, great shower, amenities. We had a city view room which was very cool. It is a great, safe location- walkable to many sights, tours, restaurants and bars. They have a parking garage right across the street which is convenient and very reasonable.
The rooftop bar/pool area is amazing! Great drinks/ food lighter fare. Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious! Restaurant was closed for dinner service because of renovations during our stay, but set to open in September?
All staff from front desk to housekeeping were very nice, helpful, attentive and quick to respond to anything we needed. I highly recommend the Arlo and hope to go back for the cherry blossoms in the spring!"
"I love this hotel! The Henley Park Hotel is now my definitive go-to choice in Washington, DC. This stunning, historic Tudor building is near the Convention Center, and virtually everything about my stay was spectacular.
The room was flawless and exactly as presented online. The hotel hits every detail perfectly: a massive soaking tub, plush spa robe, high-quality toiletries, and a dedicated makeup-remover cloth. The in-room Keurig has a great coffee/tea selection, and every lamp has built-in charging plugs. Staff even proactively offered to send up slippers when mine were missing. The 24-hour room service is impeccable, the Henley Classic breakfast was amazing.
The property also features, The Tavern restaurant, under a skylight atrium, afternoon tea in the Wilkes Room, and the Blue Bar Lounge, alongside free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour front desk, and a fitness center.
I have only two minor critiques. My 7th-floor window lacked a view, and the only parking option is valet at $59/night. While I didn't mind the valet service, a lower-cost option for guests would be perfect.
Regardless, the pros vastly outweigh the cons. From the historic charm to the modern tech and dining, it is an incredible urban retreat. I will always check for availability here first when visiting DC again."
"Anytime I visit DC this will be my go to Hotel. Very impressed with the staff. They went above and beyond to accommodate me during my 4 day stay. Excellent location, amazing gym, loved the stream iron, cleaning staff was great, just an amazing experience overall."
"Absolutely beautiful hotel!! The staff was so helpful and accommodating. Will return to stay again and dine at the restaurant Dogon, the food and service was superb"
