Motels in Wasco County

Location location. This property has such an outstanding view of river, dam, city scape and sunset that it becomes a destination in itself. Comfort bed in nice room with said view. Small breakfast nook with standard continental breakfast fare. Outside seating area with great views. Driveway potholed and jarring. This likely keeps speeds down to the benefit of the homes along the down hill side

This is our 2nd stay within 4 days -a Diamond in the rough! Very comfortable and homey. Cousins Restaurant is excellent , as well!

It provided what I needed. It does not provide many amenities, but it was cheap, clean, and I felt safe. That was what I needed.

We got a room overlooking the river and garden. The room was very nice and updated. It came with a refrigerator and microwave, which is always handy to have. Easy access to the room from the parking lot. The view was beautiful. You can ask for a non-pets room if you are severely allergic. We didn't know this, and we both have some allergies, but the room was clean and we didn't notice it at all (assuming pets had been in the room).

Great place to stay.

We stay here numerous times throughout the year. The couple who manages/owns/runs this cute little place are truly some of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. Thanks for another great stay!! We will be back!

I normally stay at the Hood River Inn down by the river, when I am in town, but it was full, along with other places I have stayed at before.. Expedia recommended this one, it only had 3 units left when I booked. I did not know what to expect when I arrived, but I was very happy with what I found when I arrived. I was in town for the Hood River Follies, a play put on for 6 days over two weekends, sponsored by the local area Lions Club's, (this was the 39th year) with a cast of about 75...

The property was older but indeed very clean and tidy! The building itself was clean and the pavement was even. They were doing renovations at this time but they made sure that it was out of the customers way which was considerate. The guy that helped me get checked in was polite and helpful! The room was nice and clean, as well. No weird smells. The bathroom was simple. Towels were free of mysterious stains and hair as you would find at many hotels surprisingly... A shower mat was offered...

When I arrived, I had the easiest check and I’ve ever had at any place. I’ve stayed overnight. Room was clean and neat but someday they will want to update a few things. Terrific value for the room.

Only problem we had ants on the floor. Not too bad.

Arrived in time to visit one mine in the area. Had a restful sleep and a fabulous breakfast at the hotel. Second mine we intended to visit only a few miles away. Perfect location for us.

Nice little independent motel. Nice king size beds with clean linens. Microwave and refrigerator. Would stay again.
