"Friendly staff, on-site parking. Beds were comfortable and room was clean.
Narrow staircase, no lift do big or heavy suitcases could be a challenge.
Breakfast was good!"

"The hotel was old and uncomfortable. Didn’t find my booking and had to wait around for over 30 minutes for it to be confirmed despite showing evidence the room was booked.
Won’t stay again. "

"Well what a gem.
Great place, everything you need is there. Except hairdryer, not a problem for me as mine dries fast.
The whole experience was great from start to finish. Comfy bed, shower amazing, hot tub was awesome addition. Great night away and we will definitely be returning.
Dont go to Lygon arms in feckenham ( village closest) food, service was not great at all. Redditch is close by and Hanbury hall"

"We adored our stay and wish we had more time to spend here. What a wonderful country setting in a traditional B &B. Beautiful chapel views from our room which also overlooked a sweet field with sheep. We were welcomed at the door and bid goodbye personally. The cooked to order breakfast was wonderful and thoughtfully prepared and laid out. We would love to return if we are lucky enough to do so. True gem!!! Suzie and Wes from Oregon."

"The check in was chaotic, I.e. no room number or lockbox instruction until after check in time, then no key in the lockbox and no telephone number to call to discover what to do next. "

"Had a room at the back with a tiny window at the top that we couldn't see anything out of or open, aircon didn't work, remote for tv missing and no shower gel in the container. We went and changed rooms and the staff were very helpful, probably because we shouted a little at them. New room, aircon was still not great but at least we could open the window to let some air in. Rooms are looking tired and could do with a refub for the money you pay for them. It was games expo and we took to the stairs as the lifts were very busy and one was closed off. As for the stair ways, they've not been swept in years, there was that much dust and hair in them you could knit a jumper. Breakfast was good and the staff were cleaning all the time and kept the tables available."
"Hotel overall needs maintenance , cleanliness was below expectations .
Lifts were smelly , slow and doors often failed to close properly.
Air cooling system was broken which left us with poor ventilation in this summer."
"We stayed here for one night to attend a concert at the Aviva Arena. Online check in and check out was very convenient and easy. The room was lovely; clean, comfortable with everything we needed for a short stay. Staff at Guest Relations, Reception and in the Bar were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you."

8/10 Good
"Staff were very kind and helpful. Beds were less than perfectly comfortable. Breakfast had a wide variety of options but some were just average in quality. Overall a good place for the location and price. Thank you, we would stay again."
"As always another great stay. Made to feel welcome by all the staff I had contact with. Room was spotless and bed very comfy. Breakfast was tasty and hot and a good choice of items. Again, the breakfast staff were friendly and helpful.
Great location for the casino with decent food
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel."
"Clean room but very dated. Was on the ground floor at the back of the hotel. The room was hotter than the sun so had to sleep with the window open. Also found the latch to lock the window was broken so could be easily opened from the outside anyway.
I used the leisure facilities which were good but also dated. I didn’t eat in the hotel but did have a drink at the bar.
The staff were really friendly and helpful and a perfect location for the NEC (15min walk)"
"Mum and daughter stay and she loved having a separate room with connecting door and separate kitchen area, would recommend for the price the space was good and we enjoyed. Kitchen was well equipped"
