I stayed at Ibis Warszawa Centrum for a week, and it was one of the most uncomfortable hotel experiences I’ve had. The listing on Expedia clearly stated that heating was provided, but in reality, only the bathroom had heat. The room itself was freezing, with night temperatures dropping to around 3°C. I couldn’t sleep properly for several nights because of how cold it was.
When I finally asked the front desk for help, I was told the technician doesn’t work at night and was only given an extra blanket—which did almost nothing. The next day, I reminded the reception, but they said no request had been logged. I had to ask again to get it addressed.
The worst part came when I followed up the third time. A staff member named Beata refused to help at all and was completely dismissive. For a hotel under the Ibis brand, this level of service and disregard for basic comfort is unacceptable.
If you’re staying here during cold weather, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. What’s advertised is not what you get.
