"Clearly a nice place to stay. Good restaurant, spacious safe car park. Niggles were that the window (Rm3) didnt seal in the frame so massive cold draft into room (like the window might as well have been wide open) making room freezing. The bathroom stank badly of drains, which was then a pervasive smell into the bedroom. Teapot hadnt been emptied from previous guests. Shame, because We wanted it to be a good alternative to our current hotel in the area, but it didnt come up to scratch this...

"Very pleasant modern hotel in a very opulent, quiet and almost rural area. Parking is plentiful and secure (good security cameras). The room was clean, tidy and well maintained. Staff very courteous. Bath was hot and the water ran ok. Beer (Doom Bar) was well kept and tasty although a little expensive at £6.30 a pint. Although I was given the option of 10% off a meal I still thought it a bit on the expensive side so ate at the nearby

"The menu on the website states rhere are 4 vegan options. This was not the case whatsoever. After spending almost 20 mins waiting to be checked in I eventually went for dinner in the bar. There were 2 vegan main options, both of them made vegan through the removal of items rarher than being stand along items. I had the soup and the pasta. The soup had the creme taken out and the pasta had the feta taken out...still the same price as the other versions. I asked if something could be added into...
