Holiday Inn Newark International Airport by IHG

10/10 Excellent
"The room was super clean, common areas also super clean. The drawer and cupboard doors were all open when we can into the room. Really appreciated the airport shuttle and drivers—I didn’t think to get cash before getting there and was bummed to not have a way to tip them easily—the front desk wasn’t done closing out the books so I couldn’t add a tip to be charged to the room. The bar had great food. Me and my daughter each ordered the small salad and a side for dinner and it was plenty for us. Portion size on fries and full salads is enough for two normal eaters or one hungry athlete. There was guest confusion because the hotel is physically connected to food outlets but the bar and deli are on a separate financial systems, separate business entities. Multiple front desk and deli staff explained the set up to guests. Even the houseman was super helpful when I had questions. The gym was popular and had over 10 people when I went. Overall a great experience and I’d do it again."

"Great location and yummy breakfast. It was handy to be able to store our luggage for the day after we checked out of our room. It would be nice if the instructions to get the shuttle from the airport were clearer."
