"Great location and wonderful staff"

"Loved the mattress. Slept well and felt rested after a long drive to New Plymouth. This is the second time we stayed over at Devon, looking forward to a third stay. Thanks to wonderful cleaning staff who kept the room and bathroom in such a clean condition. "

"Had the ocean view cabin for 2 nights and it was wonderful. The view was amazing from the rear deck and waking up to that view in the morning was a wonderful way to start the day. The front desk gave me a bath bomb to use in the deck bathtub and it was a highlight of my stay! The bed was very comfortable and the dressing gowns were a nice touch of luxury. Would definitely stay again."

"The parking was fine, The reception gentleman was awesome and checking in was a breeze. He gave great advice for a meal. However, I thought the room was very dreary and the bed was soft. It had everything in it but it just didn't feel like a hotel. And the big clinch was having to wipe number twos off the toilet seat. This is unacceptable. I informed reception and the new person on duty the following day who both said they'd pass it on. The morning person said the cleaning staff were having a bit of a shakeup at the moment. I expect a bit more than this - maybe a refund or something as a sorry. This is such an enormous H&S issue."
