"Nicely styled hotel and very convenient location. I stayed in a classic room which looked nice but had some impracticalities. The temperature can not be controlled from inside the room and was set too warm for me. The reception staff adjusted this for me, but it only seemed to stay at the requested temperature for a few hours before climbing up again. This meant I couldn’t sleep, so affected my stay. The only full-length mirror faces the bed and leaves about 10cm in which to stand so is completely pointless and inaccessible. The luggage stand was broken when I arrived, but replaced when I pointed it out. However most toiletries were near empty and had to be shaken out of the bottles. Not unpleasant but some easy fixes."

"Very basic and average hotel. Room is extremely small and location next to train railways. Always loud noise from railways, A/C was not working so to get fresh air had to open window. Bed is uncomfortable. breakfast plain: beans, eggs, ham and cereal and breads. Solo traveler on a budget probably OK but i will not stay there again. Consider this: bus/train stations 10 minutes walk, when it was rain the taxi, for less then a kilometer, cost me 11 UK pounds, or 18$. Food options around hotel are insufficient."

"Although the room was relatively clean there was a stale smell. The curtains did not black out the sun so if a light sleeper will be awake early. The toilet was clean, shower was good however the towels were rough. The iron in the room needed replaced as it was burnt and I didn’t risk using it."

I paid extra for an upgrade to the corner suite, but it was disappointing — dirty window with a big awkward beam blocking the view, sofa not facing the TV, cheap desk in the middle of the room, and the beds weren’t amazing either. Plus the fire alarm went off twice at 7am. The VIP lounge had minimal options and no atmosphere, but the sky bar was amazing, clean, and had a great vibe."
