Stroll the uncrowded beaches where you can spot seals and collect agates between dramatic waves. Visit the historic Alsea Bay Bridge for crabbing, then explore tide pools teeming with starfish and sea anemones.
Beautiful beach convenient on 101! Loved the picnic tables and benches on the cliff and stairs to the beach ! Awesome information inside the office. Bed was so comfortable too!

The unit is small for two adults, two children and a dog. It's also a little "tired" and well used. But the walk to the beach and the view from the deck are worth it.

Cute well furnished cottage. Only issue was the extremely pokey weed things on the walk to the beach that left splinters in our feet and dogs paws, but there was someone trying to remove the dried bushes.

Cute place and right on the beach! The staircase up to the bedrooms are not good for older people or small children but you have beach access right out your back door.

The location was fantastic! It was so easy to get everywhere. The cottage was outdated and a bit rundown, but it was nice and the beds were comfortable.

The views spa pool and sauna are wonderful. Very attentive staff. Spacious rooms. Coastal trail accessible from the patio (on first floor). Property is close to town. Included “continental “ breakfast was a full meal served cafeteria style. Coffee was good and hot.very restful atmosphere.
Four star rating was due to fact that after wrapping myself in the comfy robe provided, i found an expired room key in the pocket. Lead me to believe it hadn’t been laundered since used by previous occupant....

Room well-kept with reading lights and chairs. We had a non-ocean room but we could see the ocean anyway...Nice reception area with good gift shop and pleasant welcoming staff.

This property worked very well for us. We had a large room which gave space for our greyhound. They were very pet friendly, even with a large dog, and the fee for him was reasonable. There were places to walk him around the property. The room was cleaned well and only suggestion would be to vacuum dust off the overhead rough wood beams and ceiling more often. Beds were comfortable and we slept well. The staff is friendly, helpful, and we had excellent e-mail communication before the visit....

Staying aboard is very relaxing. Happy hour and breakfast are unrivaled, every detail is clearly thought of. The food and company was amazing. This was our second stay and we intend to make it a regular spot.

Room had all the amenities i was looking for. Great view, balcony, fireplace, jacuzzi tub, plenty of towels and blankets, silverware and dishes supplied. Good customer service at the front desk. Used the convenient laundry room which was clean and affordable. The only improvement would be a tub long enough to fully stretch out. Definitely plan to return.

We were crabbing in Newport and the La Quinta is a beautiful hotel close to the bay. It was so convenient for us with ample parking for our boat. The gentleman who worked the front desk when we arrived, I think his name is Peter, was wonderful! He was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and so energetic! His positivity was infectious! The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We had such a relaxing stay. The breakfast was lovely and one of the cleanest and best set ups that I have seen at a...
