State Plaza Hotel

State Plaza Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"I liked everything and felt it was very nice experience although it was only for one night! The only think that I wanted to draw the attention to was the smoking odor in the room! I checked in, called the front desk to let them know there is a smoking odor in the room, they said they would send someone to check and refresh the room (or they would move me to another room - which I didn’t feel it was needed given my shirt stay). Someone came in, seems to have noticed the smoking odor, talked in a language that I didn’t understand to the staff over a walkie-talkie, went out of the room and said they will come back and never came back!! I didn’t have time to follow up!"

"When we checked in, we were not told about the destination fee and the ability to spend the money in the lounge and thus receive a credit. The family we were staying with knew this information and shared this with us. Front desk – should go through all of those details with people upon check-in."

"Old but honest hotel. Clean and well kept considering it's 50 years old and mostly original. Surprisingly good restaurant for breakfast and lunch. We didn't stay for dinner but I'm assuming it's good as well. Relatively inexpensive overnight parking and overall good value. Good location and nice pool. Our 5th time here and not the last one."
