With the ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, traveling now comes with some extra challenges. Take a look at these valuable tips before hopping on your flight to Waldecker Land:

• Research if any travel restrictions apply to your origin and destination before committing to a flight. Also check if there are any requirements you'll need to follow on arrival, such as testing and quarantining.
• Wear a face mask during airport screening. A TSA employee will require you to temporarily lower your mask to verify your identity.
• Do not hand your boarding pass (electronic or paper) directly to a TSA employee. Instead, position your pass on the reader and then hold it up to allow the agent to visually inspect it.
• TSA now permits passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on bags. This will need to be removed from your bag to be screened.
• Remove personal items from your pockets, like your small change and phone, and put them in your carry-on rather than into bins. This will reduce handling during screening.
• If you're planning to take food on the plane with you, place it in a clear plastic bag and then into a scanning bin. This reduces the likelihood that a TSA agent will need to touch your carry-on bag or food container for closer inspection.
