「There are about 30 steps from the off street parking space to the Treetops deck, but we knew that going in. One arrives at a spacious deck with a fantastic view of the Bay of Islands with Russell off in the distance - hence the elevation. It was a bit too cool to dine on the deck (there is a bbq) but at the end of each day exploring it was lovely to sit with a glass of wine on the deck, watching the light fade. 「My partner and I enjoyed this quiet and romantic spot. The views were spectacular and could be seen right from your room! The shower was great. The hosts warm and welcoming. The private hot tub though is really what puts this place over the top. Highly recommend! 」

「Wonderful place to stay, with extra touches to make our stay special. Accommodation was clean and comfortable with plenty of space, with a balcony offering beautiful views over Bay of Islands. Excellent location for getting to quay fir boat and ferry trips and within walking distance of Waitangi Treaty Grounds. (Although the steep walk back up hill after a day out is quite tough...but view was worth it). 」

「This was the cleanest and best appointment holiday apartment I’ve ever stayed at - the whole place was spotless - both inside the apartment and also in common areas like the pool. The apartment has everything we needed for cooking and eating, as well as plenty of bedding and towels. The staff when above and beyond - they were extremely friendly, kind and helpful! 「Excellent. Very convenient. Room was spacious and well-equipped. Staff was very nice. We actually couldn't make it for the first night because of a change in plans so we tried to contact the hotel but couldn't get through. When we arrived the next day, we did not get any funny looks or stares. We just got the same nice, courteous service we would expect. Plus, the location cannot be beat. Right on the beach. You can literally see the ocean from here! And feel that nice sea breeze wafting through...
