Come to the Uretiti Beach camp! You get to wake up to beautiful sights like these. The staff are extremely nice, the facilities are very well looked after, and the New Year's party is, as the kids call, "lit". Although, it's up to you as to whether you'd want your kids at the party or not.
Glow worm gave, you will have to go trough a little river, no guide free entrance, bring a torch!

Initially we thought we would be spending my last few days in New Zealand in Auckland. After a few hours in the busy city, we decided to leave again. Don't get me wrong: Auckland is cool and has got a lot to offer, but after two months of being surrounded by New Zealand's amazing nature, it just didn't feel right to end our road-trip in the city. So, we drove up North to the Bay of Islands. Boy, i'm glad we did. Because it turned out to be Ben's & my favourite place in New Zealand! We both love the water and somehow Northland has got it all: breathtaking nature, stunning beaches, incredible sunsets...and the winter months are really mild! We spent some beautiful days up here! Soon I'll be off to Guatemala and Ben will do another housesit in New Zealand before we re-unite on the other side, in the States.... New Zealand - you have been incredible!
