"We came in just after the Hurricane Lala hit the island. The power was out, the elevator was down, people were trying to book extra nights. It was a frustrating, stressful situation for the staff. And despite all the problems, they were kind, courteous, tried to meet all the customers at their level of frustration with a smile and as many options as possible. Once the hotel was back online, all of the staff from the front desk, housekeeping were friendly and always asked if we need anything."

"We arrived a couple days early for our cruise. Check in was a breeze the staff at front desk were excellent. Unfortunately we arrived the day before Hurricane Lala showed her face. The hotel power went off then on for a bit and back off. The elevators were not working and they let us take the service elevator to go down from 26th floor. Breakfast was still being served and we were able to have breakfast in the dark but staff was great. We asked at the front desk if we could stay an extra night as the port was closed and we could not board as planned they were very accommodating considering the situation . The happy hour on the 35th floor was amazing. I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Honalulu."

"Wonderful property, my first impression was check in. Best check-in experience in my life. Cane was efficient and made me feel so welcomed. I had already had a tough day with my 2nd flight being cancelled due to weather conditions so I was not in the best of moods. Regardless I was treated with the up most professionalism and kindness. Thank you Cane for bringing calm to the chaos!"
