Ala Moana Hotel by Mantra
10/10 Excellent
"Popular place. Busy during check-in. Check-in personnel were very helpful, The only glitch was booking my parking permit. The clerk charged me for only one day. I almost had to pay an extra $20 for the next day. Luckily, I was able to reverse my car from a one-way route and was able to prepay for my parking for the rest of my stay. Basement parking can reach its limit at night. My room was neat, clean and ready for use. The elevators can develop a waiting line. We enjoyed our stay at the Ala Moana Hotel and its easy access to the Ala Moana Shopping Center. The Ala Moana Beach is directly across the hotel. I recommend staying at this hotel. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. In-house Starbucks, market store, and free lobby entertainment."

"Property was very clean inside and outside. Ocean view was beautiful!!! Pool was great and my kids loved the water slide and water fall. Lawson store always had fresh food. Rumfire had great garlic shrimp. ALL AROUND GREAT STAY AND HOTEL."

"Our room was super clean, as was the whole property, which is a lot more than I for most of Honolulu. The staff was great. Tiny bathroom and a ton of road noise at all hours on Ala Moana Boulevard are my only gripes. If I were to stay again I would definitely request a room on the other side of the building."

"This property was amazing. The complimentary breakfast was one of my favorite food experiences of the trip. It may be odd to some, but I LOVED that they had removable shower heads. It’s an essential for me, so I was pretty happy about that. The staff were very kind and helpful. I got a city view for the balcony, and it was okay. Maybe book the ocean view if that’s important to you. Amazing overall!"
