"lovely place in the quiet countryside. only 10-15mins drive to the nearest town for restaurants, shops etc.. Perfect if you want to stay away from the traffic/town noise. I was only 30mins drive from Rennes which was perfect. The hosts are very friendly, welcoming and their food is excellent. "

"Stayed for 3 nights in October 2025. The stay was very pleasant. The room was comfortable, warm and clean. The hosts were very accommodating and done rverything to make my stay plesent. The property is in a very nice, remote, and quiet area. Chateaubriant is a ten minute drive away, with lots of nice restaurants. Dinner one evening was very plesent and good value for money. Would definitely return. "

"A really quirky and nice property in great grounds. Need to book restaurant in advance as reading reviews often dull and not much in the area and nothing else walkable. Overall a nice stay - great spa, lovely grounds. Special mention to Raphael who helped us 👍"

"What a gem of a place, not easy to find but once you do it’s great with the perfect host Only one issue was the bath not holding the water which is an easy fix other than that I’d recommend the place without hesitation "

"We had an overnight stop at this property on our way back to the ferry. Our stay was very pleasant and the hosts were very friendly. The property was very clean and they catered for all needs, tea, coffee, water etc in the room and I even got a recipe for a wonderful courgette marmalade. The property is not too far from Vitre which is a beautiful town and definitely worth a visit."

"We booked À la Mainguère at quite short notice, for a quiet night before catching our ferry back to England the next day. Well I have to say, that after one night, we want to book again and for longer! What a fabulous place to stay and with just perfect hosts too. "This Logis is in a pretty environment. It could be so good but it’s management that lets it down! We arrived after the check in time then had to phone to get an access code. The reception wasn’t manned till much later. When we booked this hotel it was because of the reviews of tge restaurant. On arrival we found the restaurant wasn’t on site and it was closed for the summer! Breakfast was available and we checked the start time of 7am as we had to leave early. The breakfast was on time and ok...
