Stayed for 3 nights in October 2025. The stay was very pleasant. The room was comfortable, warm and clean. The hosts were very accommodating and done rverything to make my stay plesent. The property is in a very nice, remote, and quiet area. Chateaubriant is a ten minute drive away, with lots of nice restaurants. Dinner one evening was very plesent and good value for money. Would definitely return.

Hope you like cats... lots of them roaming around the place along with their particular smells. (Yuk) The decour - like stepping back in time twenty years. Owners were good and well intentioned. Home cooking - bit pricy for what you got which was one choice. The place has lots of promise but I came away feeling short-changed.

This property was a real unique find and was set in such a tranquil area. Beautiful, large, bedroom and bathroom all well furnished. A bonus was the swimming pool and gardens to relax in. Definitely worth a visit and the owners were charming and welcoming.

Laurent e Corinne sono super host: ti fanno sentire a casa. La proprietà è immersa nel verde, molto silenziosa e tranquilla. La camera spaziosa con un letto enorme e comodo. Cena ottima, buon vino e cordialità sono la ciliegina sulla torta di questa struttura. Assolutamente da consigliare.

What a gem!

Despite Covid 19 control in full swing it was simply perfect in every way. We arrived on a hot day, shown to our room and invited to make use of the swimming pool. Having cooled off, and settled into our luxurious room we readied ourselves for drinks followed by dinner on the terrace. A delecious three course meal was served with coffee and wine. After a short stroll around the pretty garden we retired to bed. It was very comfortable and being a beautifully quiet location, a good night sleep was had. We ordered breakfast in advance and were well rewarded with a fine spread. As a result of such a wonderful find we are now planning to revisit in the autumn.

Wir wurden sehr nett auf Englisch empfangen und fühlten uns wie im Paradies. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, von üppigem Grün umwachsen. Das Zimmer ist sehr hübsch eingerichtet mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Vor dem Haus gibt es einen schönen Pool und ein Jacuzzi. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, frisches Baguette, Butter, selbstgemachte Marmelade, Schinken, verschiedene Wurst- und Käsesorten, Müsli und Cerealien, Nutella, Honig und Croissants, diverse Teesorten, Saft und Kaffee. Es gibt viele Broschüren über die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Gegend zum Schmökern. Unser Aufenthalt war perfekt.

A fairytale chateau....

Beautiful...amazing....welcoming....comfortable.....lovely....friendly......cosy.... One of my best stays... owners are so welcoming, with beautiful decor, very good breakfast....limited items but everything fresh with vety good homemade jams.... Was a bit chilly so we didn't use the pool but Jacuzzi had perfect temperature. Thanks to the lovely couple Roger and Susan....Highly recommend to stay at La Marmoire.

Beautiful B&B in Fantastic Location

Absolutely loved our little stay here - Beautiful location, lovely clean spacious room. Charming hosts were very friendly, thank you so much! The best part was the outdoor swimming pool which was right outside for us. The hot-tub was really nice and relaxing. We can highly recommend this beautiful find, a must for couples!

Calme et très bon dîner

Très charmante maison avec un piscine. L'hôte est vraiment très accueillant, le lieu très calme car isolé dans la campagne. Le dîner était excellent. Nous y étions lors de la canicule et la chambre que nous avions était vraiment très très chaude, nous avons pu avoir une chambre plus fraîche. Un lieu idéal pour se reposer au calme et au bord de la piscine.

Great people, great place

I never say perfect as perfection is hard to reach but "la Marmoire" deserves this word. Everything was perfect from the hosts (Suzanne, Roger the cook and Pip the quiet dog), the location, and the amenities (swimming pool, jacuzzi)

Fantastic accomodation

Only an overnight stop, but could not have felt more welcome. Accomodation is clean, spacious and the hosts are very welcoming. Dinner was served in the garden and is of restaurant quality, if not better. Will definately be returning. Well recommended.

Lovely stay at the La Marmoire B&B

Our stay at La Marmoire was an extremely enjoyable one. The room was quite large and had an attached beautiful and modern large bathroom. The common living room on the ground floor was beutifully presentd and so very comfortable. The breakfast provided was simle but delicious. Evening meals, which are separately charged at a most reasonable rate were just first class. The outside facilities, such as the pool, BBQ, are available to guests and the was plenty of casual seating as well. The hosts, Roger and Susan, (and their quiet dog, Pip) could not have been more helpful and we would love to return one day, for another taste of their great hospitality.
