Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for 5 days hoping for a relaxing getaway. Was very pleased that this hotel was pet-friendly. However, our stay was less than satisfactory.
The pool at the hotel was nearly unusable. Not only was it not oceanfront and next to main road traffic, but the pool itself was dirty and crowded. The indoor pool literally had 0 chairs and was so tight that it too, was unusable. I usually enjoy the pool & beach on my trips but didn’t have the option here to comfortably use the pool.
I had to constantly ask for my room to be serviced which is unacceptable. Housekeeping wouldn’t refill tissues, toilet paper or makeup wipes unless I specifically requested and had to make my way downstairs to retrieve those items. Towels were frequently dirty. Pillows had rips and stains on them. The floors in my room were never vacuumed or cleaned and constantly full of dirt or sand, even when I first checked in. My shower curtain had filthy stains on it and when I asked for it to be replaced, housekeeping left a new shower curtain in a bag on the outside of my door as if I was expected to replace it myself.
I asked to have my bed sheets changed and of course, those directions weren’t followed.
The lobby floors were constantly wet and left uncleaned for longer than they should’ve been which was a tripping hazard. Hallway carpets were stained and filthy too.
Overall, the hotel was less than mediocre and I wouldn’t return, nor would recommend anyone to stay here.
