Great place on the beach

Close to the beach and convient but quiet. Parking was close by and staff were accommodating for a late arrival.

we loved cutty sark efficiencies. everything we needed was in the apt from stove to glasses to pots n pans. the staff were awesome. enjoyed being within walking distance to the beach we could see it from our room. great variety of shops within walking distance also. planning next years vacation to virginia beach to stay at cutty sark again. highly reccomend.

The staff are amazing and although dated the room very clean and comfortable. The only draw back is the parking spaces are tight and spread out in different locations. 1 day we were able to park on lot the next few we had to park further away in other lots. I would definitely stay here again!

Close to the beach and on the boardwalk It was very clean and comfortable close to everything, there is a Dunkin donuts and 2 restaurants right around the corner. Great service but a little deceiving with the ocean view since it wasn't in front of the ocean so I was disappointed on that matter

Front desk staff were amazing and polite. However the rooms were completely unkept. Stains on the bed sheets and shower lining. Also there were multiple roaches and ants in the room.

Great spot to enjoy a night in VA Beach. Wonderful view from the balcony, little kitchenette was very convenient for breakfast but could have used some extra supplies. Room was quiet even with some outside traffic. Would definitely return!

Exceptional!

I really enjoyed my stay at Cutty Sark Efficiencies in Virginia Beach. It is a very nice property, clean, comfortable, cozy, wonderful in every way. The customer service was excellent ! Great people! Ms. Koch Innkeeper, Doug, Jerry, Tammy were extremely helpful and pleasant to interact with. I would definitely stay here again!

The room was old and the decor was outdated. Big deal. It was clean and the employees were friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much. The pool was great. And the location was spot on. The boardwalk is directly across the street. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking is limited but free and manageable. Rooms are quaint but a bit dated. Water pressure was fair and bed was too soft for my tastes but not a big deal. Location is perfect- close to beach, a Dunkin Donuts and Mellow Mushroom- what more could you ask for?

The room was definitely stuck in a time warp, but it was spotless and super comfy—like your grandma’s house if she were a neat freak with a passion for fluffy pillows. We stayed on the 3rd floor, and while there’s no elevator (cue the unexpected leg workout), it was totally worth it just to sit on the balcony, watch dolphins flipping around like they were on break from SeaWorld, and enjoy a front-row seat to a dramatic thunderstorm. Bonus entertainment: watching beachgoers sprint for their lives like it was a scene from Baywatch: Thunderstorm Edition. Pure comedy gold. The pool was just the right size for a refreshing dip after pretending we were in a fitness montage during our long beach walk. The staff? Genuinely delightful. Like “makes-you-want-to-hug-a-stranger” kind of nice. The only drawback was the parking situation. The few spots connected to the hotel were tighter than a pair of jeans after vacation snacks, and pretty limited. They do offer additional parking in two other nearby lots, but they’re across the street—and if you're bringing everything you own for a week-long stay, expect a mini workout just getting to your room. Still, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat—and I've already told my friends they need to check it out.

Enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of close by shopping, and eateries. The room itself was nice, clean, and comfortable once we got the bed replaced. Christine(?) in the front office was extremely helpful and pleasant to interact with. Would consider staying here again!
