Surfbreak Virginia Beach Oceanfront, an Ascend Collection Hotel
We were there for a run weekend and it was very busy. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfy. Natalie at the front desk was very welcoming and lovely. This is not a fancy property but the rooms were clean, the balconies over look the ocean and we were only a mile from the start.

Although the room was clean it had a bad cigarette smell. Everything else about was great. Indoor heated pools/Jacuzzi, free washing/dryer and convenient to local eats sitting on the beach.
