It was destroyed by the Soviets, but rebuilt - the entire walk is about 7 km. A beautiful modern hotel with great views of the city and the river from the higher floors. The sky bar is well worth a visit just for the views. Room was excellent with a comfortable bed and modern bath rooms. Staff were efficient and friendly and I would recommend it .
