「Excellent stay at the property. It was very clean and tidy with everything that we would need for a night's stay before contuining south. The grounds are secured by gates. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, with great restaurant recommendations. We will definitely return. 」

「Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette très belle maison, décorée avec beaucoup de goût. La chambre était spacieuse et confortable. 「Perfect budget hotel for an overnight stay. Other reviews were critical but let’s be honest, it’s not a 5 star hotel but it is perfectly clean and decent buffet breakfast. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Easy parking and a 20/25 minute walk to the cathedral and old town where all the bars and restaurants are situated along the canal. 」

「Great overnight stop after a late afternoon train from Folkestone. Plenty of free parking on site. Room are basic but perfectly adequate for a night stop on route to Southern France. Has a kettle and tea and coffee facilities. Nice seating area both inside and out for an evening drink. Had a meal in the restaurant which was delicious and well priced. The bar staff and waitress were attentive and engaging. Good night sleep before heading off for an early start so cannot comment on the...
