We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Maison au Fils Temp. A charming property a short drive away from Amiens. A perfect stop to explore the Somme area, ahead of our LeShuttle journey home to the UK. Sylvie and Nicolas were such kind and thoughtful hosts. We had a delicious 3 course dinner both nights at the property. Very reasonably priced. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Lovely place to stay.

Whilst we only had a very quick one night stay here en route to Paris we would definitely recommend this lovely hotel. We were very late checking in but this wasn’t an issue and the owners even told us to get some food at a neighbouring village before coming to check in. When we arrived we were shown to a lovely big room with comfy beds and a great big shower. We were quickly asleep. In the morning we had fresh bread and croissants for breakfast with orange juice and fresh coffee which was a lovely start to the day.

Fantastic stop over.

Friendly, welcoming host. Unique decor in our spacious room. Secure parking and very large garden. Make sure you contact them to book dinner which was great. Excellent breakfast included in the stay as well.

Perfect stopover

Perfect stopover in Northern France. The rooms are tastefully decorated by Nicolas, and everything you need for a short stay is present. If you call Nicolas in advance, you can take advantage of his excellent evening meal, full three courses and easily one of the best meals of our trip. Comfortable night sleep, and a great breakfast the next morning before we headed on our way. We only stayed for one night, but could easily have stayed longer. The hotel is on the main road through Pont Remy (although you don't hear it - it's a small village) and easy to find. Private gated car park, and just a couple of minutes away from a supermarket if you need anything.

I cant begin to thank you both for our stay last Sunday! From the moment we came in we were welcomed into your beautiful home with open arms. Our bedroom was extremely spacious and the bathroom was beautiful. We had coffee and tea facilities for the morning & were invited downstairs for a drink in the garden before our dinner. The garden was so lovely - we also loved the chickens, cat and dog. All very friendly! The dinner was delicious - a home cooked meal with an amazing Champagne to pair. Nicholas & his wife were so so hospitable and made the end of our road trip through France one of the most memorable evenings of the whole holiday!

Fabulous one night stay

We stopped off at La Maison Au Fil de Temps for a one night stay as we holidayed in Northern France. The house was superb, our room very comfortable and spacious. The welcome was so friendly and hospitable and the evening meal was fantastic. We'll definitely return if we are in this part of France in the future.

A heaven for the tired traveller.

Incredibly beautiful house on the outskirts of a small village. We were on the last night of a four week journey around France and this was the best place we have ever stayed in in France. The host is genial and kind but not intrusive. Nothing was too much for him but he left you alone to enjoy the house and grounds. Secure parking with a high gate, en suite bathroom with a great shower. The house is finished impeccably and very comfortable. Breakfast was great too with fresh scrambled eggs sourced from the owners own chicken. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s about 90 minutes from the ferry so makes the perfect stop if you’re travelling either way. Supermarket (Super U, if I remember correctly) about 300 metres away and a couple of eateries in the village including a Turkish one that was full on a Thursday night. Very quiet at night. Also, Niklas, the owner has a great dog. Wonderful.
