「It is a beautiful spot! The rooms are very spacious and clean. The floors are a terracotta or stone tile and you need to wear slippers or shoes on them. The outdoor furniture is nice but very old and in need of freshening up and cleaning. The pool is stunning and a nice break in warmer afternoons. The breakfast was well done and great start to the day. Plenty of hot water and water pressure. The office was very helpful.」

However on arrival we were informed the pool, sea swimming and the dive centre were closed all of which open on 1st June as listed under the “services subsection” of the website. 「Great location to walk around Catania. We had the suite which has a double bed upstairs and a single bed (comfortable mattress) and small living space with refrigerator on the first floor. It is a second floor unit so some steps but staff can help with luggage.」
