「Nice experience」

「Bitterly disappointed with this hotel. On reading the website when booking it advertises sea, relaxation and comfort. However on arrival we were informed the pool, sea swimming and the dive centre were closed all of which open on 1st June as listed under the “services subsection” of the website. At the spa centre again the same story with the sauna, jacuzzi, Turkish bath and steam room all closed. On asking why “just because they are”. Presumably again open on 1st June. 「Great location to walk around Catania. We had the suite which has a double bed upstairs and a single bed (comfortable mattress) and small living space with refrigerator on the first floor. It is a second floor unit so some steps but staff can help with luggage.」

「Location is good the breakfast is above the average and the parking is nice. Stop in front of the hotel and they park for you. Garage is 22euro per night. Room is spacious but they didn’t replace the used personal items - tissue paper, conditioner etc. 」

「The "total spa" experience is very underwhelming. Access to a sauna, steam room, is not a "total" experience. The foot treatment consisting of ruining a walk on progressively more painful rocks was so bad we had to laugh. But... rooms were good and the staff were very pleasant. Everything else, that is standard, was really good.」

「This was a lovely hotel, the room was very spacious with a gorgeous high ceiling. The location was walking distance to the main sights and also Via Etnea, places to eat and supermarkets were near by. There isn't a lift in the hotel but it didn't take away how lovely the hotel was.」

「Very wonderful propert between Catania and Taormina with a great location near the Etna park entrances and local wineries. With a great onsite restaurant and small pool it made a great stopover.」

「This place is terrible. The bed is terrible, the location is rough, the staff is terrible. Over all the experience was terrible. We were promised breakfast, and there was a half working coffee machine and a couple wrapped muffins that were not restocked. The room had bugs, and they did not go away. The bathtub was disgusting and took forever to fill up. Also a moth flew out of a jet when we turned it on. The bed was terrible to sleep on and folded like a taco. My wife and I didn’t sleep well...

「Staff was great. Room was clean. But my worse lifetime experience in a hotel that has rooms where you can’t sleep. My room was facing an open street terrace with the extreme late night noise and a farmers market for the very early setup noise. Couple this with garbage/recycing pickup and street cleanup at 4am, it impossible to sleep because the windows are not soundproof. During daytime the room is much quieter…」

「Great apartment and location centrally located in Madrid. A better option than getting 2 hotel rooms in my opinion. Hosts are very responsive and i will be happy to stay here again when i visit Madrid. Great cafe for breakfast/lunch right across the street too.」
