「Property was OK and restaurant was good, but Novotel took a room charge deposit by credit card when I booked the room via Expedia. Then they insisted on full payment again when we left, saying that the deposit would be cancelled promptly. 3 weeks later the deposit is still showing as pending on my credit card account. Not acceptable.」

「Superb hotel in every way. It is on the expensive side, especially for some of the wine, but everything is of the highest of standards. Excellent golf course, played 2 rounds, greens were as good as it gets, very true and good speed. I was lucky as they had to move to temporary greens for 2 days while they treated them...I wouldn't have been pleased if I hadn't been able to play having booked the hotel for the golf!
