"This is a B&B in an apartment building, not an actual hotel, so that was a surprise. It's also several blocks walk away from the centro storico of Tropea, so the surrounding area is full of busy apartments and streets that are distinctly uncharming. However, the facility was SO NICE and the air-conditioning was amazing, and the service was very personal and caring. I was happy to be treated so kindly. "Hotel Tirreno is truly a place to relax and re-energize yourself. Staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout out stay. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. The breakfast each morning was delicious. Dinner - four course was over the top. Can not wait for the Spa/fitness part to be completed."
