Strange things happen at this hotel! Two of the three elevators did not work. Actually someone was shouting in one of those stuck elevators crying to be rescued. I requested to the guest services for a packaged to be dropped to my room. They informed me that other than security there is no one to drop that package to my room so I had to dress up and go down to pick it up. At 3-4 AM there were noises on the floor. Scattered stuff on the check-in counter.
Pool area was very cold - keys didn’t work on two occasions...guests were discourteous at 4am and i asked front desk to please address and they did not follow up until i asked again later that day- elevators didn’t work - the 8th floor smelled like marijuana
Very well maintained considering the age of the property, extremely helpful staff, incredibly comfortable beds. All in all a great hotel, and a great value at a great price..

They over charged us over $100 which are not included in the accidental fees and they took over a week to settle it
We've stayed at this Sheraton Hotel a dozen times over the past decade. Now that Marriott has taken over, there are some improvements we could see, and we expect more will come: the Marketplace café has an expanded menu, and the parking garage and lot are being fixed up. The rooms are spacious and handsome, but sparse. For instance, there were no paper or pen to take messages, no hotel services directory, etc. The folks at the front desk were great. Friendly and helpful staffs for all shifts.
We needed a small refrigerator for our room, and it was delivered in a jiffy. Housekeeping was terrific too--really spotless rooms and hallways. Overall, the hotel could use a refresher, and it looks like that's what's happening now. We're looking forward to our next visit.

Under construction outside, some difficulty navigating to it. Hotel rooms are a bit dated. Breakfast and marketplace were subpar.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The service was excellent. They definitely could use more parking though as we were unable to get a parking spot for quite awhile due to an event happening at the hotel that evening.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
It was run down. The doors on our rooms were scratched so bad and I don’t know how. The room smelled funny and it was just overall not well kept.
Glad it was inexpensive and for only one night. If I don’t have to be here for an event again I won’t choose it.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Booked two rooms because I have 3 children. Called and asked for adjoining rooms. Was given 2 rooms on opposite ends of the floor and told sorry, hotel is busy, that's the best we can do. I had to pay the people staying next to us $50 to get them to switch rooms with us so I could keep my family close together. The pool was freezing, no towels, no lights. The room was dark and old. Not cleaned well.
This property was a huge disappointment. We stayed with many other families and some had to change rooms up to 3 times to get a room that was clean. Our room was generally clean, but everything is soo old it's unbelievable. Thank God for the staff being so wonderful because the physical hotel itself was terrible.
The check in process was horrible, Naresh couldn’t find my reservation even though I gave him the confirmation number. He kept asking me to spell my name over and over and rejected when I tried to give him my ID from the beginning. After finally 30 minutes, he asked for my confirmation number again and got me a room without explaining what he did. Also this place is old.
The lobby, swimming pool, café and bar were very impressive. The location is also excellent, close to the metro, several restaurants and a Walmart. However, the room was quite small and our double beds were tiny (full size definitely not queen). The walls are very thin so we could hear our neighbors as well as anyone who walked outside the door. Overall it was satisfactory.
