This was my second visit, and once again I was impressed. The location is perfect, and every staff member was very kind and welcoming. On this trip, I felt their hospitality even more strongly. Especially Hanna, one of the staff members, was so helpful and warm that I still remember her name. If you are visiting Vienna, I highly recommend staying here – you will truly enjoy the experience!

Room felt like small apartment. Enjoyed decor 1920s . Excellent restaurant for dinner very near hotel. Many bakeries sandwich shops. Excellent Breakfast in hotel. Jazz music in common areas could be improved. Would benefit from non vocal additions.All staff had adequate English. Only drawback constant music usually vocal from 1930s in common areas. Choice jazz could be improved.

Great hotel but the original room was too small so I paid money to get a new double room. The rooms they have with single beds did not fit my needs but ok for my friends. I was perfectly happy after I paid to put myself in a bigger room

This is a very quirky but absolutely charming property! The staff is attentive, available and helpful. The rooms are creatively small (which would make a longer stay challenging) but you will not find a more romantic and fun getaway! Highly recommend this hotel (and opt in for the breakfast option!)

The area of the city was super quiet - but the hotel was adorable. The bar was amazing, and the food in the morning was perfect. The only drawback was that it really wasn't a super fun area of town.

This hotel is an art deco gem with fantastic, friendly vibes. We booked the Ideale Plus Deluxe Double Room and it was charming, spacious, and comfortable. The pillows are like sleeping on a cloud. There was a complimentary bottle of wine in the room, and it was very clean. The bathroom doesn't do much to mask any sounds, so if you're not at that level yet with your partner, it's something to consider. The shower was great and you could strip paint with the water pressure. The location is perfect, close to transport, and a 30-40 minute walk to everything. Very safe at night. The bar is beautiful and the staff are friendly and capable, except for the older server with the stubble, who's a pompous knob with an attitude. The thing that irked me about this place is that the best four tables in the house, located in the four corners of the room were reserved every night, all night, with nobody ever sitting at them. I got the impression that the staff's friends come often and they keep seats open in case they happen to pass by. They force you to sit at the bar while these four tables sit empty all night. Might be something for management to address. Outside of that, I highly recommend this hotel without any regrets booking here. We will definitely be staying here the next time we visit Vienna which is once per year, me being from Canada, and my partner from Austria. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable! You're the best!!!

Lovely Unique Hotel

Lovely weekend stay. The decor of the hotel/rooms make it extra special for a weekend in Vienna. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and the breakfast was wonderful in keeping with the ambience of the hotel.
