great location and helpful staff. close to bus and train stops so exploring the area was easy. lots of lively night life in the area so not a quiet place to stay but great if you want to step out and have lots of options nearby.

Vevey is one of the most charming towns I have ever stayed in and the Hotel Negociant was in the heart of it. Wonderful to walk in, shop in, dine in and sight-see.

Wet basic hôtel. Staff was really nice but it was really warm inside the room and quite noisy as the market was just down the road. The bed was average.

Central hotel...

A clean, central hotel with very helpful staff. We stayed in the apartment with basic, tired looking furniture and decor. The shower had an issue but the reception gave us keys to another room with a good, working shower which we could use when we needed.

My trip was a fleeting overnight with an early departure next morning. Staff were very friendly. The room very clean and the bed comfortable. The surrounding were quiet but the hotel was in a good location, although Vevey was quiet as a whole during my brief visit. I didnt get to try the food as i left too early for breakfast When i checked in the restaurant appeared to be busy with what appeared to be locals ... which says to be it has to be good.

Area is extremely convenient and room is spacious even though bathroom model is more dated. But window and Juliet balcony in bathroom make it cheerful in sun. Not too many vegan options in Vevey though but good and varied stores around. Check in was very good. Television didn’t seem to work. Overall, a very good stay.

We have stayed at this inn twice and enjoyed it both times. The service was friendly and helpful. They went out of there way to help with any problem. The housekeeping staff did not hurry us. We cannot speak to the restaurant as it was closed for vacations while we were there. The only issue that could have been better was no air conditioning. It would have been appreciated at both stays.

Lovely, small hotel in old town. Nothing fancy, yet very clean and functional. Close to everything: lake, restaurants, train station, shops, market. Helpful, Friendly staff. Can be a bit loud in that part of town during the day and evening. Did not bother me but in case that’s important to you. Wifi was so-so.

Hotellet er som sådan fint nok. Ikke så mange faciliteter, men det har de heller ikke lovet. Mangelfuld information fra receptionen ved ankomst, for eksempel i forhold til hvor værelserne lå, ingen elevator til 4. Sal, hvad man skal gøre ved parkering, wifi. Vær opmærksom på, at der ingen aircondition er, kun en vifte. Lokationen af hotellet er godt. Personalet er generelt venligt. Ligger midt i byen, lidt støj fra barer kan forventes.
