「The hotel charged us 800 Rs to get to and from the hotel to the city. Eventually, we found out that the rate was ridiculous, considering we found a taxi that would take us for 150. Other than that, the staff was really friendly.
Though it's located near the water, you definitely can't go swimming...you'll have to go to the beaches further north to do that. However, you can rent a scooter from a place across the street for 300 Rs/day and drive along to coast to visit the other beaches.」
