"As always the hotel was great and the staff were so helpful. After travelling all day in 43 degree heat, the air conditioning was a godsend. We were too tired to go out to eat, so we chose some prepared food from the chiller cabinet and it was heated for us, I had a chilli which was tasty and filling in the comfort of aircon, with a cold beer. The staff were so helpful, and the room and bed very comfortable, one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had. Thanks to everyone. A bientôt."

"Overnight stop on the way home. Booked a cheap, basic, no frills accommodation and that is exactly what we got. Tiny room, very thin mattress. The auto’ check in system failed and we had to go away and come back 2 hours later when someone was available to help sort out the issue. "

"Such a hidden gem that we are so delighted to have discovered. A really good example of French hospitality at its best. A warm welcome and beautiful decor really made our stay feel special. The modern take on traditional features give this place a unique feel. The food was just fantastic as was the chef producing it. "Hotel is excellent; has off road parking and two large sitting areas, one interior and one exterior. Owners were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us; very friendly. Sadly, there was only one other person there and this was in the middle of August. We just loved the multi coloured rooms: very different and refreshing. "If you like old, quaint and quirky then this is the place for you. The proximity to the Loire is unbeatable with beautiful views and walks along the riverside. The room we had (402) was huge but accessed by a very tight and steep staircase. An interesting style of furnishings but the bed was comfy with good linen. The bathroom was also spacious but some DIY to the fixings would help. The evening meal is served by restauranteurs who are not involved with the accommodation. The food was tasty...
