"This is a nice hotel. The staff was attentive and pleasant. We had a lovely balcony room with access to the upstairs terrace. Daily maid service was only fair. They would forget to restock items or to clean the floor. Breakfast was great but the bar area was only open for certain events."

"I would have had good things to say about this place if I had not been robbed whilst staying there. I understand that bubble tents cannot be locked but the hotel's assurance that it is entirely safe because it is in a secure compound is clearly false. (From a text message sent before arrival: "We are in a private area, with security provided by both the hotel and Valle de los Sanderos.") I am not accusing hotel staff but someone entered my bubble, opened a bag, found cash that I had hidden, and took 1000 pesos. I informed staff at reception but the hotel did nothing but offer a late check out, which I did not need or want. No apology or even a drink from the bar. So, until they take the obvious step of installing safes in the bubbles, I suggest you either avoid this place or keep ALL valuables with you at all times. Also, a check-in window of two hours (3-5pm) is absurd given the unusual nature of the hotel. Note also that the restaurant closes at 5pm so you will need to take a taxi or uber into town if you want to eat later - it's about a 15 minute drive into town. "
