What an amazing find this hotel is and for the price! Don’t think twice about booking it! It was amazing. The room we had was on the ground floor very spacious with a big television and a huge hot tub. The room was spotlessly clean and smelled super fresh. You could literally eat off of the floor it was so clean. The location is amazing, minutes to all the main attractions, lots of great places to eat around. And I just can’t say enough about the breakfast, made to order eggs and pancakes and waffles, an espresso machine that makes the best capuchino ever. There are a great variety of choices from fresh scrumptious pastries to freshly squeezed juices, yogurts of all flavors, fresh fruit. What was most special was the care of the staff, they were all so nice and caring, the young man at the front desk even carried our bags to our room. Just amazing. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. You will not be disappointed!

The property immerses you in Venetian culture as soon as you walk in. We loved the short walk with our suitcases from the train station. It’s close enough to Pizzale Roma that you can take the vaporetto anywhere but far enough from the bustle that is it quiet and private. The staff are so kind and welcoming, the breakfast delicious, and the rooms comfy, cozy, and beautiful.

This was a fantastic hotel other than the stairs of death!! ( but it is Venice so they are Everywhere). Building has a fascinating history. A lot of Stairs to get into hotel but once there is very Venetian which is what we were after. Had the family room which was perfect for Four adults. Breakfast included so Attentive and great options. Walking distance from the train station although there are stairs. Easy walk to San Marco and Rialto bridge food options much cheaper in this area and as it was quiet season all restaurants made Our visits lots of fun with lots of limoncello. A great option out of the San Marco area. In Venice apparently all alleyways lead to San marco

We had a wonderful stay. The room was spotless, bed comfy, and the breakfast had eggs, fresh pastries, fresh bread, and fresh fruit. Lots of stairs to get to the front desk and the rooms but the front desk clerks quickly offered to help with the luggage.

We loved this hotel, we chose it due to its close proximity to the train station. We were pleasantly surprised by the amazing free breakfast that they offer. The staff was so sweet and friendly. They don’t have an elevator so that’s a challenge, but they will help you with your luggage and we asked for a porter to help us with our luggage to the train station on the day we left and that was so helpful. Local restaurants are amazing too.

Breakfast was outstanding! Amazing selection with service for coffee and eggs. Within walking distance to the train station and bus station. Don't be fooled and take a taxi unless you really feel you need to because it much faster and closer to walk. You have to walk in most of Venice, and cars can't drive by the hotel, so you're better off walking. Friendly and helpful staff. They do have quite a few steps to get up to the hotel but they are quick to help you with luggage if you ask. The room and bathroom were both well equipped and a good size. The room had AC or you could open the window. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Comfortable en suite room with everything we needed (although English Breakfast teabags and milk available only at breakfast - not supplied in the room). Used the Aircon, as September was warm. The building is old and characterful - to be expected in Venice - so the steep staircase to reach the accommodation is not surprising. Excellent breakfast including juices, fruit, cereals, yoghurt, pastries, cheese, cold meats, bread, rolls and hard boiled eggs. Scrambled eggs and a couple of other options available on request. Coffee and tea. The member of staff on duty worked hard to deliver hot drinks and replenish food. Special thanks to Antonio on reception who volunteered to carry our suitcases both on arrival and departure, and was very friendly and helpful in general. The most expensive accommodation on our trip in northern Italy - but that's the 'Venice factor'. We towed our suitcases from the station to the hotel, which wasn't too arduous apart from carrying them over the bridge over the Grand Canal near the station. (The alternative is to hire a porter with a cart to transport your bags - don't know how much this costs)
