Lovely hotel in a quiet area. You're able to get on the vessperato to visit the San Marco quarters with a 5 minute walk. The only thing to look out for when arriving is the entrance is located down a narrow alley way.

The location can't be beat! We were there early May. Thanks to Monica for all the great information upon our arrival and suggestions for how to get back to the train station to maximize our bus pass! Breakfast was delicious, there were great piazzas within 2-5 minutes walk with different options to eat! The room was huge and so spacious for 4 people. Room and bathroom were clean. The view of the canal from the windows were beautiful. Even though it was by two high schools the windows were perfect to keep the noise out! Comfortable beds, a few steps up to get to the room and the staircase was wide in case you have large suitcases. We walked from the station to the location but as suggested by Monica we bought a bus pass the day before our departure, enjoyed going to Murano and Burano and used it the next day to go back to the train station! The staff at breakfast were kind and helpful too. It was a very pleasant stay! The room looked exactly like the photos!

We booked a family room for our family of 5. Room was clean and they provided enough towels for each one of us. They provided complimentary water and coffee in the room. Water pressure and temperature was perfect. We each were able to take a shower back to back without any loss of heat. The room is slightly dated but they are working on renovation throughout the hotel. My kids enjoyed that it was an original older building with lots of nooks. Breakfast was delicious. Grape variety something for all of my children. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Offered espressos or cappuccinos. Felt like a true bread and breakfast. We would definitely stay again. Elevator was working so we use that to move our luggages up the stairs.
