"This is potentially a perfect place to stop over. Close to the motorway and close to the beautiful town of St.Flour. But we were sold a breakfast on arrival and no one turned up to prepare it until 8:10 by which time many guests were leaving annoyed that they had not had breakfast and were now late to start their journey. I saw a very young person arrive at 8:10. She was unable to give me a card refund and said she would post me a cheque. I don't expect to see the cheque. The coffee...

"This is an amazing find such lovely family owners took great care of us - the rooms perfect and clean. The home cooked food was amazing and service impeccable. Safe parking and so close to the Puy Mary volcano mountain area. Will stay again!"

"Beautifully done interior design with an eye to period authenticity. The views of the countryside are open and wide. The owners were quite personable. I had a little difficulty finding the castle since I had incorrectly set my sights on the village of Perpezat. I was looking for "Lieu dit Perpezat" which landed me an hour from the correct village - Apchat."

"Pretty hotel in a nice location but the rooms are budget and the noise in the morning unnaceptable. Squeezing a few more rooms in the basement under the kitchen was not appreciated. 5:30 staff movements on a Saturday while on vacation mean we would t use again. Not recommended for a quiet stay. "
