"Check-in was quick however having researched prior to booking I was expecting better service (no welcome drink was offered and nothing explained around how the club lounge operated or how the half board worked (I had to ask about this). Also we had booked the luxury suite for the stay yet no real perks included (ie welcome gift / fruits etc). No turndown service was provided and we had to remind the hotel around the extra book requested. Finally, we had an early tour start the next morning and so had to get an early night. This plan was wishful thinking as our wing of the hotel was hosting a wedding reception that night. The DJ certainly enjoyed his bass settings as we couldn’t sleep until the party ended 1am. Would recommend you do your research on alternatives before you consider your stay at Taj Agra."

"I am an owner of a company in the service industry. There were two staff in particular that made my visit exceptional - Ajay (pool area) and Palwinder (sardarji at front desk). When I first entered the lobby, Palwinder was professional and provided excellent customer service. When I walked through the lobby various times, he always acknowledged and greeted myself and other guests. I highly recommend staying here. There is a view of the taj mahal from the skydeck. In the pool area, you can order drinks, food, etc."

"Breakfast was decent bacon was cooked pretty good. Room was comfortable and clean. Only issue was someone had charged dinner buffet to our room. So make sure to double check your bill before leaving. The front desk staff took care of the error. "

"Staff are polite and mean well but - rooms were not cleaned well - despite 3 of us being in a room, only 2 towels were provided daily - in the morning we would ask for baby milk and take away lattes, it would take 30-45min to arrive and even then there would be mistakes in the order Decent size rooms and proximity to the mall are the only advantage. "
