"Esme, Andrew & Conny’s hospitality was amazing! We stayed for 5 nights in 2 different rooms, the standard room then the Luxury cave suite (both were great but the cave suite is out of this world! Jason, the chef is so passionate about food & that really comes through in the meals, the food here is truly lovely. "This is a special place. The staff are lovely, the accommodation is very comfortable, the tours are fantastic. Take a break from safari and learn a little history. "

"The hotel is conveniently located near attractions in the Central Drakensberg. Check-in was easy and efficient. We had a problem with our air conditioner, which was swiftly resolved after reporting the issue. Parking is conveniently located close to the rooms. Breakfast was good with a good selection of food. Overall, a good experience and good value for money."

Muffiger Geruch im Zimmer, nicht sauber, musste zuerst einen halb ausgetrockneten Frosch mit einem haufen Spinnweben am Körper aus dem Badezimmer entsorgen... War früher sicher gut, doch wenn man nichts pflegt und nicht renoviert sieht es eben so aus. Eher nicht zu empfehlen."

"A must see! I highly recommend that you come and stay here. The views from our room across the valley were jaw-droppingly beautiful. Our chalet was very spacious and decorated to a high standard. Kitchen had everything you need for self catering. The property was clean and tidy throughout. The team was super friendly and helpful and made us feel very much at home. The tour of the battle sites was informative and really transported us back in time for a slice of Anglo-Zulu history. "
