We loved the "Relax" atmosphere. Necla welcomed us as if we were family. Elaa Cave is close to a lot of the activities making it a perfect location regardless of budget. The center is walking distance. Great businesses and friendly people.

Had a lovely 5 night stay at Elaa Cave Hotel. Great base for walking into Ortahisar and getting around the region. Stunning castle views from the rooftop terrace. With an early morning flight into Kayseri, having check in from midday was great. Stayed in Rm 55, which in the photos looks like a double but was two singles pushed together. This wider bed made the room feel small. Bed was extremely comfortable. Great to have a fridge and hanging rail, although a few more hangers would have been useful. Delicious buffet breakfast with plenty of choices. Staff was very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Would stay again and highly recommend.

My best friend and I both stayed at the Elaa cave hotel for two nights and had the BEST time ever. The manager is SO sweet. She helped accommodate anything and everything that we needed, from providing food when we first entered and sat on the beautiful terrace to helping arrange for a taxi when we were running late to the airport and couldn’t find one. She also provided extra water bottlers and was in touch with us 24/7 for anything that we needed or came up. She is the sweetest person and our stay at the cave hotel was amazing. The room is actually pretty warm/good temperature (which is exactly what we needed as we heard cave hotels can get cold!). We both highly recommend everyone to stay here! The taxi driver was super kind as well.

Great cave hotel

I really had a great experience staying at the Elaa cave hotel. My room (51) was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was perfect and the service exceptional. The hotel terrace has an amazing view and it was fantastic to be able to have a tea and watch the sunset there after a long day touring the region. All the tours I took picked me up right there at the hotel, so it was very convenient.

Quiet and safe, at 15 min around from Goreme. Staff very nice and available for every need. Some of them speak just a little English but they try to help you anyway. The room is exactly as the pictures; a wonderful experience!

Beware of references from reception.

Please make sure not to use the local taxi number provided at the reception. The Taxi driver usually takes longer routes to charge more. Horse riding services were decently priced. Others not so much. During my trip I stayed in another 4 star hotel in Goreme and they provided more reliable services

Positive: The room was super comfortable, well styled, new and spacious! At the same time it's a cave room so you also experience the real Cappadocian lifestyle. The climate in the room is also super nice and cool while outside it's hot in the Summer. The staff is also super nice and the breakfast is delicious with homebaked items. Good to know: our 'suite room' was a few minutes walk away from the main building that has the rooftop. Also the WiFi was not working throughout our 3 nights stay, which made things quite difficult as there is also no 3G/4G network reception in the room as it's a cave room with thick walls.

We were unlucky and got a bad unit. We didn't know about it on the first night. The unit had humidity issues. Bad funky smell in the bathroom. Bad smell in the entire unit. Ceiling kept falling apart and little bits and pieces of rock and sand kept dropping to the ground. We were with a group of friends, and our other room was fine. I'm pretty disappointed because this room was marked as the better and bigger room but it was worse - we couldn't use the couch because there were always sand and rocks falling on it, and it would be dirty

short staffed on every area

stayed for 3 nights, when we arrived around 6 pm, there were some hiccups, but the lady eventually found my reservation and told me, my room is on another street,( they now have 2 buildings) and I will need to walk 5 minutes to the main building for breakfast. which is fine. however, when she show me the room, it was very dusty and had a damp mold smell, one of the beds doesn't even have bed sheet on. That is no AC, so I requested a fan to keep the fresh air. I understand most of the cave room has dust and dampness problem but after I saw the room next to mine, the room was ready-made and cleaned, I then realized the hotel wasn't aware of my reservation for today. it's a beautiful hotel, but short-staffed. breakfast is ok, it's kind of messy because they aren't enough tables. nice people, but I won't return again

Yerini bulmak birazcık zor oldu ama güzel tatlı bir yerdi minik bir otoparkıda var. Odalarda temizdi fakat birazcık rutubet kokuyordu bu zaten genel olarak mağara cave otellerin bir problemi çok kötü değildi yatakta baya rahattı. Ortada küçük bir avlu var sabah çay içmek için güzel bir yer biz arabayla gittiğimiz için ulaşım nasıl bilmiyorum ama arabayla çok sıkıntı olmadı yolu bulduktan sonra
