"Charming hotel, very friendly staff, beautiful location with views facing the water on the 3rd floor. Lots of steps, so be aware if mobility is an issue but we absolutely loved it (and Hallstatt)!"

"Very nice place in an amazing location right on the lake, where the boats to Hallstatt dock. Also reachable by the public bus which I used twice, the bus can also bring you to the cable car for five fingers, etc. Self checkin instructions were clear and easy. Would recommend!"

"The area around this hotel was not very desirable. There were some homeless people in the park we walked through to get to the hotel, and the hotel was adjacent to a casino, which gave it a seedy vibe. On a positive side, the room and the bed were clean and comfortable, but there was significant evidence of a need to repair and remodel the room. There was a faux leather wall covering behind the television and desk that had many scratches and gouges out of the leather surface that exposed the backing and gave the room a sense that it had been neglected. The carpet had more than a dozen tennis ball-sized white spots on it, where they had obviously attempted to clean stains in the carpet, but bleached the carpet instead. It just gave a tired, rundown sense to the room. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Good enough for an overnight stay but not somewhere I would want to be for more than one night."

"Absolutely stunning property with a cozy, authentic Austrian atmosphere. The wooden interiors and traditional design made the hotel feel warm and unique, while the lake and mountain views from the room were breathtaking. Waking up to that scenery every morning was unforgettable. The room was very clean, peaceful, and comfortable. Staff was friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was fresh and delicious with a good variety of options. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Austria. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a charming and scenic stay."
