「The lake view was lovely and the room was dated, but comfortable enough for one night. The TVs didn’t work (in any rooms). There was a mini fridge in the room, but no microwave, hair dryer or shampoo. Was definitely overpriced.」

「Room was fine but being in the lower level, we could hear people walking around upstairs which prevented falling to sleep early. And the plumbing was very loud. Otherwise good enough for a night or two. 」

「A nice little spot with comfy beds for the night. Booked the family suite and there was no dish soap, the dehumidifier was full and when emptied the basin was full of mildew. The smart TV was missing its cord, setting up the source was difficult as well. The dust factor on the toaster was next level but at first sight, the place did it's job.」

「Room is a standard motel room, Falcon Lake Hotel has branded themselves as a high end Hotel, but this a motel. Definitely not worth $250/night.」

「At 3:30am some intoxicated folks couldn’t get into their room so they started banging on doors to let them in. There is no front desk staff after 12 midnight so no one could help them. This happened again at 4:45 with the door banging. At 6 am a Sisco transport truck doing a delivery for the hotel right outside the room. Needless to say not a great sleep at The Howey. 」

「I had to go across the street to check in at the Travelodge. I was a little concerned about being the only one staying at the inn and away from the Travelodge but it was ok. I am staying again on my way back to Alberta at the end of May. 」

「The bathroom could use a towel hook. The room could use a real coffee machine instead of a press coffee unit which had no directions on how to use it. It would also help to have a paper guide for the tv to let us know what channels were available. Also less pillows and maybe an extra blanket tucked away in case of cool night」

「For me it comes down to the price and it was too high at 249 a night, the breakfast was better the second morning but was absolutely terrible on the first. The lady at the desk was alright but most were seniors who didn’t seem to move to well, it was a glorified Motel and Don’t expect much for extras like vending machines or a water station that never was refilled.」
