The room and beds were very comfortable. It was great to have so many indoor activities available on a very cold weekend (games for the kids, lounge, pool, sauna, steam room). With it being very cold though, the poor area could use some work- the doors aren’t sealed properly, so lots of cold air from outside gets in, maybe it feel a little cooler in the pool area. The outside “backyard” area looked fun, but wasn’t shoveled for access to the bonfire areas.

The room was excellent. The only exceptions are the bathroom door felt like it was going to fall off the hinges, and an open shower is not ideal. The entire hotel was excellent. Loved the pool facilities, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, including the server at the lounge. He even took pictures for us with the moose 😆. The food was great but not the braised ribs. Tiny portion, all fat, and overpriced.

The “Backyard” is awesome and the Big Bear Tavern has good food, live entertainment, big screen tvs, pool table and slot machines to keep everyone entertained. The check in and bar staff are exceptional. Really appreciated how our ’fur baby’ was taken care of too - loved the basket of toys. Thank you Would definitely stay here again.

This property was an excellent find! Quiet clean room. Comfy bed. Ample parking. Great find for a place to stay between Winnipeg, Mb and Kenora, On.

Enjoyed my stay at Falcon Lake, super clean and friendly staff. There were more renovations done since we came here last year. The backyard was so nice and lots to do including a fire pit for s'mores, bocci ball, darts, corn in a hole. We even got to adopt a friendly fish for our stay. The beach/ grocery store/ bakery/ restos are all close. Totally had a great time and hope to come back soon!

Great stay with friendly staff. We were very happy to be allowed early check- in. My husband has parkinsons and needed to rest. Beds are comfortable. We loved the “ Back yard” with many recreation options like bocce ball, corn hole, horseshoes, ladderball, darts, axe throw and cozy fire pits. Very nice steam room/ pool area as well. Would highly recommend!

nice getaway

the hotel is nicely renovated, however the bathroom doors need to be changed from barn doors to regular doors…no privacy with barn doors at all. Had to go to private bathroom in pool area. Also, mattresses need to be changed, all of us had sore lower backs. The staff were all great!!

The customer service was very friendly and welcoming. I had a great conversation with each person at the front counter. The pool and steam room were great to stop at first. The backyard is a perfect place to spend the late evening to play outdoor games, which leads right into the lounge when you want to wind down. The room was clean and comfy. Overall, a great visit.
