「I was in room 268 and while it was perfectly located and beautiful be aware that the picture on the website that shows closed draperies is because the room is below street level due to it being located on a hill. The listing says balcony but the first floor just has a below sidewalk patio area with no furniture to sit on.Since people are walking by at all hours you cannot leave the drapes open for natural sunlight as people can look right in on the whole room. The location however is ideal to...

「Room was as expected, bed was comfortable as you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Bathroom was large as well and had the hotel branded goods. For the breakfast area, there was an option to sit outside, which was pleasant. Plenty of options as well and the staff where ready at hand to address any requests. We used Catania as base to explore the surrounding sites, but the city itself was larger than I thought and had some interesting things to see. The cathedral and main shopping street are...

「The host was very helpful especially with check in instructions which was convenient. She also arranged parking nearby. Room was clean and nice and breakfast had a nice selection. Location was excellent for exploring catania. However, The air conditioner in our room did not work which meant no reprieve from the 90 degree weather and an uncomfortable nights sleep. Also, 1000 check out time is a bit early for a bed and breakfast- makes me feel rushed.」

「The location was perfect. There was a loud buzzing noise when we arrived in the afternoon. We went out for awhile and it was still on when we returned to the room. I contacted the owner and he assured me it would stop, He told me it was the water pressure pump and would stop once the taps or showers are no longer running. It did not shut off and he would explain how we could shut if off! He did send someone to shut it off. Only problem, we had a drip of water coming from the shower as well...
